Therapies

EMDR therapy
EMDR is a body therapy that treats trauma, it is in the NICE guidelines as an evidenced-based treatment and has a good outcome and achieves result much quicker than other talking therapies. it is non-invasive and treats PTSD, anxiety, phobias and stress related symptoms.

it is used for childhood trauma, assaults, driving-phobias.

talking psychotherapies
This is a great option if you need space to talk about a problem and help to understand it and manage difficult or distressing symptoms. I trained to use CBT and other approaches such as compassionate focus therapy (CFT) to help you develop a way to relieve suffering that you are experiencing.

It can be used for depression, anxiety disorders or relational issues.

It can help understand what triggers you and how you feel and have control of how you respond.

embodied treatments
the quest to feel calm, safe and connect to ourself and others is often the most difficult challenge for people who have been in therapy and for those who have not.

in a world that can is busy and doing, how do we BE STILL.

This embodied treatment allows your nervous system to relax, heal and reset.

The treatment is done clothed on a futon mattress and uses techniques to help your body feel calm, safe and connect.
